Energy-Focused Private Equity Firm Expands

Ridgewood Energy, an energy-focused private equity firm, renewed and expanded its office lease. The firm now occupies 22k SF at Plaza at Enclave (1254 Enclave Pkwy) in the Energy Corridor. It's a surprising deal, given the continued drop in oil prices and overall dearth of energy-related leases this year, and hopefully it's a good sign for the market. CBRE's Kevin Saxe and Nick Bockhorn repped the tenant, and CB's Bonnie Kelley repped landlord AG Plaza at Enclave. At the end of Q3 '15, the Energy Corridor's Class-A office had 8.5% vacancy.
