Cousins Signs 230k SF at Post Oak Central

Last night, Cousins got a reason to celebrate (it needed it after being downgraded by security analysts a few weeks ago)--Stewart Information Services extended its 230k SF lease at Post Oak Central, bumping its expiration date to September 2019. Cousins' 5.6M SF local portfolio is 96% occupied with over six years of weighted average lease term. All the same, Cousins' Houston portfolio (we're the biggest market for the Atlanta-based firm) is causing it some heartache--security analysts from Bank of America and Stifel downgraded Cousins shares from "buy" to "hold" because falling oil prices may negatively impact its Houston assets.
