Austin Point, at the Grand Parkway and Fort Bend Parkway in Southwest Houston, will break ground in the second quarter of 2022. When completed, it is expected to include 14,000 single-family homes and 15M SF of multifamily, office, medical, retail and hospitality.

“Our focus with Austin Point is to bring to South Fort Bend County all the benefits found in other major corridors, from thriving shopping centers, office, medical, and academic to entertainment and leisure," The Signorelli Co. CEO Danny Signorelli said in a press release. "Austin Point’s plans to deliver a dynamic community starts now."

It is the first master-planned community announced for the county in 20 years, the company stated in the release.

The Signorelli Co. has broken ground on several massive developments in recent months, most in the outer edges of Houston. It broke ground on a master-planned community, Chapel Run, in Conroe, in August 2021, and announced a medical district in New Caney in April 2021, according to Community Impact. It also will build a master-planned community in Magnolia, according to the Houston Chronicle.
