Commercial Real Estate Community Celebrates Grand Opening Of SEARCH Homeless Care Hub

Members of the community came together for the ribbon-cutting ceremony for SEARCH's Employment Services and Care Hub in its new facilities on 2015 Congress AveMcCord Development, Arch-Con Construction, Studio RED Architects and Forney Construction were all in attendance to celebrate the completion of the two-story, 27k SF headquarters, designed by Studio RED and built by Arch-Con.

The space features a chapel, multiple training rooms, collaborative workspaces, administrative offices and an open-air terrace. It also boasts environmentally friendly upgrades, including a 65 kW solar array.

The facility will aid approximately 50 to 60 people every day and will have 65 employees working on-site. Last year, SEARCH served 6,175 homeless men, women and children, of whom more than 2,000 received case management services.
