Amazon is searching the Houston area for its next distribution center. Amazon is expected to construct the facility on the far west side of Houston along I-10, according to Realty News Report. The facility is expected to be 1M SF and create around 1,000 new jobs. Amazon already has an 855K SF facility underway at Hines' Pinto Business Park in north Houston. The new facility comes in the wake of Amazon's announcement last month that the company would pursue a fast-paced national expansion program.
