Airia Development, formerly known as Aliana Development Co., is planning a residential development on 900 acres off the intersection of FM 1314 and State Highway 242, the Houston Business Journal reports. A Montgomery County municipal utility district, MUD 111, was formed to service the area. The name listed on the MUD filing as "Saddleridge Ranch."
The move is likely the first step of many for the newly rebranded developer. Airia announced plans for 8,000 acres of additional master-planned community development in North Houston, rebranding away from the Aliana name to signify its growth beyond the 2,000-acre community in southwest Houston.
