CyrusOne has opened its third Houston West campus facility, part of the largest seismic exploration computing campus in the US. At full build, the Houston West III data center will provide 640k SF of data center space.The data center is designed to allow oil and gas companies to securely store their data, according to the Houston Business Journal.
Houston West III is at 5150 Westway Park Blvd. Since April 2013 the company has been snapping up land in the area and expanding its office space.
The purchase of this 45-acre property brings the Dallas-based company’s holdings up to 1M SF along the Houston energy corridor. [HBJ]
