Pennzoil Place's Big Lease

In December, Cheniere Energy quietly leased 167k SF in Pennzoil Place in one of Downtown’s biggest leases of 2013. Sources tell us the firm will relocate in Q4 from the low-rise 700 Milam into the mid-rise portion in a renewal and significant expansion of its lease. Transwestern’s Greg Tilton and David Lee have been marketing a large block of availability in property; 425k SF remains up for grabs. Cushman & Wakefield’s Trey Strake and Chris Oliver repped Cheniere.
