Browne McGregor Architects principal Charles Browne says the multi-specialty firm holds a solid track record in healthcare design since it was awarded its first MOB for Infirmary Health System in Mobile, Ala., in 1999. To date, its designed over 1M SF worth of healthcare space. In addition to numerous MOBs, recent work includes projects for St. Lukes Episcopal Hospital System and LBJ Emergency Center in Houston, as well as UTMB Health Galveston. It also just completed the 42k SF Sugar Land Surgical Hospital. The firm is active in biotech lab design, as well as retail projects, restaurants (like the new Tony Mandolas), and office buildings.
