Korean-Style Fried Chicken Coming Near You

Houstonians will get their first taste of Korean fried chicken in April, when BonChon opens in Katy. BonChon specializes in Korean twice-fried crispy chicken, glazed with either soy-garlic or spicy sauce.

If that sounds AH-MAZING to you, you aren’t alone. The company has been around since 2002, and in the US since 2006, and now has 188 stores, according to Houstonia Magazine.

The company has signed a deal to bring five BonChons to Houston in the coming months. No word yet on exact locations or what the stores will be looking for in terms of square footage. [HM]
