We’ve seen skiiers and bicyclists and surfers, but we haven’t seen it all yet—our last (for now) installment of commercial real estate daredevils may just be our flashiest.

Colliers’ Chadd Bolding is into autocross racing (similar to Formula One, it has a variety of turns and changing elevation); he rents Ferraris and Lamborghinis and puts the pedal to the metal at a track in south Houston. He tells us his dad used to take him to races as a little boy—they’d go into the pit, and Chadd loved watching them work their mechanical magic. (Some kids like cartoons, some kids like watching guys change a tire in three seconds.) He started racing himself at 16 and did NHRA drag racing for a while. Here he’s with a Ferrari F430, which he got to take around with a professional driver and get some tips on his fundamentals (occupancy, rental rates, approach, tail breaking, corning, and exit).

Chadd also took part in a recent broker event hosted by Planned Community Developers at the MSR Raceway in Angleton. PCD SVP Don Janssen tells us this is the third time he's hosted the day-long event, which brings together three teams of three brokers. It starts with learning fundamentals (including how to take controlled turns on a slick track), has a go-kart race in the middle (like the one pictured here), and ends with a 3.4-mile Autocross track where lucky brokers reach 120mph up hills and around bends. (And you start sweating when you play Mario Kart.)

GRI Commercial Real Estate prez Thompson Green caught his first wave 35 years ago in Neptune Beach, Fla., and the rest was history. Here he is “dropping into trestles.” Thompson grew up in Myrtle Beach, SC, but has surfed all over the world—all the way from Cape Hatteras, NC down to Florida, Costa Rica, Puerto Rico, California, and El Salvador. His favorite wave so far is Honolua Bay, but we’ll see if it gets usurped—he’s heading to Nicaragua in the fall.

Savills Studley managing director David Endelman is a master scuba diver who has completed over 100 dives at several of the top dive sites in the world, including Blue Corner in Palau, Malyasia’s Barracuda Point, the Red Sea, the Manta Ray night dive in Hawaii, the Blue Hole in Belize, and the sacred cenotes of the Yucatan. His favorite dive was in Sipadan, a small and protected island off the coast of Borneo, but he's got a trip planned this December to Indonesia that just might surpass them all. (We'd join him, but we're scared of sharks, and fish, and water.)

Grandbridge’s D’Etta Casto-DeLeon goes extreme for a good cause. Here, she’s with her husband Steve at Bikers Against Breast Cancer, an event she’s done since 2009 and chaired this year. This year’s motorcycle ride had more than 700 participants and raised over $100,000 (its first time crossing that threshold) for young women’s services at The Rose. D’Etta says the Houston metro has a growing need to cover the cost of screenings and services for women under 40—they’re often not covered by traditional funding sources, but one-fifth of all breast cancer diagnoses are from this population.

While in the US Virgin Islands this April celebrating her big 3-0, DP Consulting’s Wendy Zhu went fly boarding. It took her more than five tries before she was able to stand up completely, but after 30 minutes she was flying around easily (and handing out high fives). She tells us it was a ton of fun being a super woman on her birthday!
