Denver has morphed in only a few years into one of the country's most attractive markets for innovative tech companies and for the talent those companies need. That dynamic is the result of a complex mix of factors, but there is no doubt that it is real.

"Denver is a city that ignites innovation," Industry co-founder Ellen Winkler said. "The tech companies here are putting Denver's modern approach to entrepreneurship to use, and finding success with it. Leveraging the exceptional talent, as well as the resources at hand, Denver and the tech community have created a steadfast relationship."

Industry, now in its fourth year, offers over 152K SF of shared office space, amenities and three restaurants. Current tech tenants at the space include AppThis, software developer Devetry, Cloud Elements, Uber and software engineering company Twentyseven Global.

"Denver's startup culture has been growing and maturing over the past 10 years or so, and the result is a collaborative and supportive environment," ParkiFi founder and CEO Ryan Sullivan said. "While I've been working on ParkiFi, I've been connected to a support network that wants to see more companies and entrepreneurs succeed in Colorado. That's a unique and valuable thing about this market."

ParkiFi is a parking sensor specialist. The company's sensors are about the size of hockey pucks and sport a magnetometer and a radio inside their indestructible hard case. The magnetometer senses a car’s metal and then uses a radio to transmit data via a proprietary communication network. End users of the ParkiFi app are then able to find available parking spaces in an area equipped with such sensors.
