Silverwest Acquires Homewood Suites DTC

Denver-based hospitality investment and management company Silverwest has acquired the Homewood Suites by Hilton Denver Tech Center Hotel at 199 Inverness Drive West in Englewood.

The Homewood DTC is Silverwest’s 10th acquisition since it was founded in 2013 and the company’s fifth Hilton-affiliated hotel. The sale of the hotel had not yet been recorded, but the property has a 2018 appraised value of $6.5M, according to Arapahoe County records.

“We’re very pleased to be acquiring the Homewood DTC hotel and adding [it to] our growing portfolio of hotels and destinations,” Silverwest co-founder and Chief Operating Officer Charlie Peck said. “We believe that southeast Denver is the best location and growth area in suburban Denver with its exceptional business, residential and recreational facilities.”

Silverwest will start renovations on the Homewood DTC hotel next year.

The Homewood DTC is adjacent to another Siverwest property that was acquired in 2015 as the Inverness Hotel and Conference Center and later converted to the Hilton Denver Inverness. The two hotels will work together to offer a range of accommodations and services, especially for Hilton Honors members staying at either property.
