The Latest Business Venture From The Star

The Jones family is about to have a few more sports businesses under their belt. Jerry Jones has partnered with entrepreneur Rob Wechsler, co-founder of Century Payments, to launch Blue Star Accelerator.

The investment venture will facilitate growth for sports, tech and entertainment business startups at the Dallas Cowboys Corporate World HQ in Frisco.

The Star's purpose is to bring opportunities for the entire sports industry, not just Jones family businesses, Jerry says.

Blue Star will lend management, operational, marketing and distribution support along with mentorship and capital. Plus, you know, face time with the owner of America's team and co-founder of Century Payments.

Blue Star will accept applications until Jan. 15.
