Heisman Trophies Good for Real Estate?

Short answer: yes. While not all of SMU legend Doak Walker's descendants are in commercial real estate, but we found two of them showing off Doak's Heisman Trophy at the Texas State Fair. Here’s Laurie Walker Hunt (Doak’s daughter), Scott Walker (Doak’s son and Transwestern VP), Norma Walker (Doak’s first wife), and Lindsay Wolcott (Doak’s granddaughter, senior associate at Colliers International). Doak's 1948 Heisman is on display with two other Heismans won by Texans (Davey O'Brien and Tim Brown). The Texas Sports Legends exhibit is the first time that the three Heisman trophies from Dallas have been in the same exhibit, which  wraps up Sunday.
