The City of Arlington has hired Trammell Crow to act as a master developer for a city gateway site near Texas Rangers ballpark AT&T Stadium and Globe Life Park. Trammell Crow will develop 1M SF of Class-A office space on an 18-acre plot near Interstate 30 with plans to use CBRE to market the development. Mayor Jeff Williams told the Dallas Business Journal the development is another sign of Arlington’s boosted economy, pointing to other big deals in the area. Trammell Crow senior managing director Denton Walker says the goal is to attract companies to headquarter in Arlington, adding that it's become one of the fastest-growing cities in North Texas. [DBJ]
