Sporty Offices for Sports Radio Station

We took a peek at the newly renovated offices of Sport Radio WIP 94.1 FM home in Center City. Although the station has been occupying the old WYSP Studios on the ninth floor of 400 Market St since last year, the station’s market manager Marc Rayfield felt something was missing—namely much to do with sports. And the newly redesigned offices have everything to do with sports.
A sports image and finishes upgrade were important, 119 Degrees Architects’ Rafael Utrera tells us, but not the only goal of the redesign. The renovation included interior layout modifications for space consolidation to increase efficiency, control of traffic flow, and to incorporate a reception desk in the executive area, he says.
