In an effort to focus on serving major employment hubs, DART will make adjustments to bus services in Plano, Cypress Waters and Deep Ellum. All changes will be implemented Monday, March 13.
The free D-Link bus will be extended to Good-Latimer between Canton and Gaston in Deep Ellum. Two stops in Deep Ellum, one northbound at Elm Street and one southbound at Main Street, will cause buses to run a little less frequently, but still one per about 16 minutes.
DART will beef up service to Plano’s Legacy, and add an east-west express route between Parker Road Station and Northwest Plano Park & Ride, serving the campuses of Legacy, Chase, J.C. Penney, FedEx, Liberty Mutual and Toyota.
To reduce travel time between Belt Line Station and Cypress Waters, DART will no longer serve the Freeport area near DFW Airport on weekdays.
