Tom Thumb Headed to Field & Cedar Springs

Tom Thumb joined the lineup as the first major retailer in The Union Dallas (previously known as Akard Place). The 800k SF project features office, residential and retail at Field Street and Cedar Springs Road in Dallas. The mixed-use project (designed, developed and built by RED Development) was announced in May 2014 and should open in 2017. In addition to two towers of office and residential, The Union will feature 85k SF of sit-down and fast-casual restaurants plus retail, including the 60k SF Tom Thumb grocer. CBRE/UCR’s urban retail and leasing team will lead the leasing efforts of the remaining 25k SF of retail space. RED’s other key partners for the project are StreetLights Residential for the residential element; Peloton as office leasing agents; landscape design firm, The Office of James Burnett; and design architect, HKS.
