Beck Ventures' Scott Beck tells Bisnow that Dallas Midtown should get its final approval by the city council next week. Plans have been developing for years, and Scott has a long-term (like 30 years) vision. The 430-acre mixed-use redevelopment of Valley View Mall may get started as early as later this year, the Dallas Morning News reports. There's also some efforts by a city councilman to add an Automated People Mover (think SkyLink at DFW Airport) as the development arrives.
