A retail development in Far North Dallas' Prestonwood neighborhood is about to undergo a major facelift.

Triten Real Estate Partners announced plans to construct a large adaptive reuse mixed-use development known as "Work/Shop" at 5494 Belt Line Road in Prestonwood. The 12-acre site is already home to name-brand restaurant and hospitality concepts such as Mesero, IVY Kitchen, Coal Vines and LOOK Cinema.
The construction project will bring two new, three-story buildings into the area, offering a total of 135K SF of Class-A office space and an additional 81K SF of readapted and new retail space alongside Belt Line Road.
Triten Real Estate Partners is working with Catlyn Capital on the project. The design team is composed of architect-of-record O’Brien Architects and landscape architectural firms SMR Landscape Architects and Studio DWG.
“We’re incredibly excited about what Work/Shop will offer to users and visitors who want to occupy space that is well designed, connected to outdoor amenities, and includes well curated restaurant and retail operators,” Triten Real Estate Partners principal Ty Lee said in a statement.
The site's retail and office locations will be attached to a 30K SF outdoor plaza complete with activated green spaces.
Venture Commercial Real Estate's Amy Pjetrovic, Ryan Smith and Gabi Shaff have been selected to handle retail leasing for Work/Shop, while Holt Lunsford Commercial's Holden Lunsford and Dan Pond will oversee office leasing.
