Jackson-Shaw kicked off construction on The Oasis within the company's 100-acre Cascades at The Colony mixed-use development. The Oasis, a four-restaurant alfresco dining and entertainment area, is the newest addition to the master planned community in the booming retail and corporate headquarters corridor in North Texas.

The three-acre development will be developed by Jackson-Shaw and leased by Shop Cos’ Thomas Glendenning and Chrystal Morgan.

Cascades at The Colony was developed to establish a commercial hub along the north side of Sam Rayburn Tollway (SH121). The Oasis will tie together an array of intimate gathering spaces and features from four distinct, local restaurants, including potential mezzanine rooftop entertaining areas and a quad outdoor patio.

The mixed-use community is adjacent to the Cascades Marriott Campus, anchoring Courtyard by Marriott, Fairfield Inn, Residence Inn and Event Center.

Construction will be completed in the third quarter of 2016.
