There’s never been more redevelopment and reinvestment in the urban core than what’s in the works today, says CBRE EVP Phil Puckett (right, with CBRE/UCR EVP Jack Gosnell and SHOP Cos’ Tim Axilrod at NTCAR’s Re-Evolution of Downtown event). Phil’s team has worked a number of office to multifamily conversions in Downtown. And, Jack says Millennials are moving toward the value and appeal of Downtown. As that Downtown population grows, the demand for services and amenities will drive the retail development (like Jack’s projects at the Farmers Market and 1401 Elm.)
