Site Selection magazine named Texas as the state with the most total project activity in 2014 with 689 projects in its March cover story. That tally is an increase from its 657-project, first place finish in 2013. Texas outperformed its next closest competitors—Ohio (582 projects) and Illinois (394 projects). The top three are the same from the magazine’s 2013 list, too. Kentucky won in the per capita category, but takes sixth behind North Carolina and Georgia in overall projects.
