SMU is making a big splash with a new 44k SF Aquatics Center it hopes will inspire excellence for years to come.

The two-story collegiate competition center, constructed by The Beck Group and designed by Brinkley Sargent Wiginton Architects, will be on SMU’s East Campus. It's expected to deliver in August 2017 and is being modeled after the Georgian style of the main campus. The building will house a diving platform well with four springboards and a 10-meter tower for training and competition; 800 bleacher seats; men’s, women’s and visitor locker rooms; meeting space; and classrooms and coaches’ offices for competition and community use.

KDC and Patronus Data Centers reached an agreement to market and develop 35 acres just north of Main Street between the Dallas North Tollway and Legacy Drive in Frisco, for build-to-suit data centers.

FINANCING

HFF's Trey Morsbach and Jim Curtin secured construction financing for the development of a 326k SF build-to-suit, Class-A office for CoreLogic. Working on behalf of Billingsley Co, HFF placed the fixed-rate construction/perm loan with Regions Bank.

Maverick Commercial Mortgage signed a $5.6M mortgage on two manufactured housing communities in Irving. The borrower was repped by Liechty, McGinnis, Berryman and Bowen's Emmett Berryman. Lender’s counsel was Eckert Seamans' Thomas Sweeney.
