Infomart's Big Announcement

Infomart Data Centers launched a new carrier-neutral Building Meet-Me Room in Infomart Dallas. President John Sheputis broke the news at Bisnow’s Dallas Data Center Extravaganza event Wednesday. Making the announcement even juicier: they are waiving monthly cross-connect fees.

John says the BMMR (within the 1.6M SF Infomart Dallas at 1950 N Stemmons) will upend the traditional Meet-Me Room model by waiving monthly cross-connect fees to encourage interconnection within the carrier-hotel. Until now, Infomart Dallas was one of the nation’s largest carrier-hotels without a common BMMR. Infomart Dallas houses 28 unique data center suites and its own 24k SF wholesale suite. John says the new BMMR is designed to facilitate interconnectivity within the carrier-neutral fiber hub, enabling connections between the more than 70 network carriers and all co-location customers within the building. John says the fee-free BMMR will help in keeping connectivity costs low for the data centers within the facility.
