River North residential development shows no signs of stopping. An email from Ald. Brendan Reilly (42nd) to constituents announced plans would be unveiled next week for a 32-story apartment tower on the site formerly occupied by Clark & Barlow Decorative Hardware at 353 W Grand Ave. Canadian developer Onni Group purchased the 30k SF building for $8.8M in October 2012 and has wanted to build apartments on the site since, reports Crain’s. These planned 330 units are in addition to over 7,600 apartments being delivered to downtown through 2016. [Crain’s]
