Northwestern University is buying the current home to the Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago in Streeterville. NU already owns the land where the building is located and RIC is building a new $550M HQ two blocks away it'll call home in 2017. NU has no immediate plans on how to repurpose the 19-story building at 345 E Superior but it could become office space, according to Crain's.
