Quantum Real Estate Advisors brokered the $1.3M sale of a 7,500 SF AutoZone (above) in Carpentersville to a cash buyer based in California. Quantum’s Jordan Kaufman and Daniel Waszak repped the seller, a Chicago-based investor, and Chad Firsel repped the buyer.

Sperry Van Ness Chicago Commercial’s Paul Cawthon, Angelo Labriola, and Scott Maesel repped the buyer in the $1M sale of six acres of land located at 2600 Roosevelt Rd. The parcel is on hold for future industrial development.

BUSINESS

Pangea Properties is expanding into the lending arena with new platform Pangea Mortgage Capital, which will bring financing to an existing client base and primarily focus on loan sizes of up to $5M at a typical term rate of less than two years. LEASING

CBRE SVP Dave Prioletti completed three deals at 140 Ambassador Dr in Naperville, bringing the Cabot Acquisition-owned property to 100% occupancy: Sabic/Polymershapes renewed an 89k SF lease (Dave and CBRE’s John Humphrey repped ownership); iGPS (repped by Colliers’ James Estus) leased 84k SF for over four years (Dave repped ownership); and Target Decorated Apparel renewed a 30k SF lease.

Habitat for Humanity signed a 15k SF lease in West Park Plaza in Charleston. Adelphia Properties’ Simeon Spirrison and George Spirrison repped the landlord.

Happiness is Pets signed a 2,400 SF lease at 109k SF AMC Theatres-anchored Naperville Crossings, the NW corner of Route 59 and 95th St in Naperville. Mid-America VP Jaime Platt Bertsche and leasing rep Angela Gasbarro repped the landlord. The tenant was self-represented.
