Digital Realty Trust, with its June acquisition of Dupont Fabros in the rearview mirror, is adding to its Chicago holdings. The world's largest data center REIT has agreed to buy one of the largest Chicago suburban data center assets in a nine-figure deal.

Digital Realty Trust is buying a 250K SF center in Northlake for $315M. Digital Realty Trust and Dupont Fabros each have new data center projects under construction, with a projected 41 megawatts of new capacity; nearly 29 MW have been pre-leased.
