| A number of brokers have left Grubb & Ellis for Cushman & Wakefield over the last two weeks, including Chicago office head Shawn Mobley. A Grubb spokeswoman declined to comment on the moves beyond confirming Shawn has indeed left the firm. |
| Also joining Cushman from Grubb are Tom Tunicliffe, Ari Klein,Scott Shelbourne, Lou Hall, Claire Paulson, Craig Cassell, and Dirk Riekse. Avison Young hired the team led by John Ziesmer earlier this month and plans on hiring a lot more in coming months (although AY didn't say if new hires would be from Grubb). And Transwestern hired Vineet Sahgal and Jim Higdon. A Cushman spokesman didn't return calls placed this morning. Globest.com reported that Grubb plans to file a lawsuit following the moves. |
