The closer you live to downtown, the more likely you are to move around and rent. That's according to an analysis of Census data by DNAInfo, which shows 50% of residents in the 60603 and 60604 ZIP codes only called those areas home for at least a year. Conversely, 95% of residents in the 60646 ZIP code of have lived in the same home for that period of time (60646 contains parts of Jefferson Park, Edgebrook and Sauganash). Real estate agent Tina Marie Campbell says neighborhoods where more residents stay put are more family-friendly and provide conveniences such as good schools and access to expressways and public transit. Another ZIP code where residents are transient is 60661, which contains part of the West Loop and apartment towers like Alta at K Station and K2. [DNA]
