New All-Suites Hotel Slated For Fort Mill Development

A Cambria Prototype Hotel

Choice Hotels has inked a deal with the developers of Fox Hunt Farms to bring a 124-room Cambria hotel to the property. The site, on Amistead Avenue in Fort Mill, South Carolina, already has an apartment development underway, and retail and office space proposed, the Charlotte Business Journal reports.

Cambria is an all-suites brand with 31 locations in the United States, and others in the pipeline. The Fort Mill property will open in 2019.

Each design is reflective of the local market, but they all feature large rooms, meeting space and locally prepared foods and craft beer, according to Choice Hotels.

"Fort Mill is known for its central location and increasing corporate population, making it an ideal market for the Cambria brand and guests traveling on business or leisure," Choice Hotels Vice President of Development for Upscale Brands Mark Shalala said in a statement.
