Talk about leveraging. Charlotte-based Trinity Capital Advisors just launched the third of its Capital Value Funds. This go ?round, thedynamic trio of Charlotte CRE plans to raise as much as $50M from private investors.

 

In turn, it will use the money to buy investment properties—all or in part—the total value of which could top $400M. ?In 2010, we saw a crack in the proverbial dam of deal flow,? says Gary Chesson, a partner in the firm with David Allen and Peter Conway. He tells us the balance of 2011 and 2012 offers ?tremendous investment opportunities.? Previous funds have been used to acquire the Ally Center (above) in uptown Charlotte, as well as NASCAR Plaza. The new fund will focus on investment properties in the Carolinas, Virginia, and Georgia.
