The Pawtucket Red Sox have scoured Rhode Island for a new home, but now the search could lead them out of the state.

Business leaders in Worcester, Massachusetts’ second-largest city, are trying to lure the Minor League Baseball team and Triple-A affiliate of the Boston Red Sox to their city, the Boston Herald reports. Gene Zabinski, head of the city’s Canal District Alliance business organization, has been working to land the team and sent them postcards in support of the move from 10,000 Worcester residents. City leaders have also been in contact with the PawSox organization about a potential move.

The PawSox have long been looking for a replacement for their home at Pawtucket’s McCoy Stadium, which was built in 1942. A 2015 plan to build a stadium in downtown Providence was canceled due to outcries over the team seeking $120M in state subsidies. Officials in Rhode Island are expected to consider a new stadium deal in the fall, which Gov. Gina Raimondo said would not cost the state any money.
