100 Northern Ave's On The Block

100 Northern Ave in the Seaport District is reportedly up for sale, with HFF handling the listing. Boston-based The Fallon Co and MassMutual developed the 17-story, 516k SF build-to-suit, and major law firm Goodwin Procter moved 800 employees into the office from its longtime offices at 53 State St this summer.

The building might fetch as much as $515M, the Boston Business Journal reports. The property is Fallon's fifth completed development in the Fan Pier. Others include the Vertex Pharmaceuticals HQ at 50 Northern Ave and 11 Fan Pier Blvd. The Vertex buildings sold for more than $1.1B combined to Newton-based Senior Housing Properties Trust in 2014.
