WHAT'S NEW AT THE SEAPORT

Digging begins soon on public amenities for the $3.5B, 6M SF Seaport Square. But don't take our word for it. (Well, you could, but why sell yourself short?) Hear specifics about the megaproject from Boston Global Investors? John Hynes at Bisnow's State of the Seaport Summit on March 5 at the World Trade Center. His company is working on the project with Morgan Stanley.
In April, construction will start on a 35k SF recreational park and a 12k SF innovation center at the 23-acre site, which John and partner Morgan Stanley first acquired in ?06. Construction is also likely to start by year's end on other components of the project now undergoing BRA design review: Norwich Hospitality Group's 150-key hotel, WS Development's 1.2M SF of retail, WS and AvalonBay?s 1M SF mixed use project (800 apartments, 340k SF of retail), and Twining/Skanska's 300 apartments with 20k SF of retail.
