| We ran into Kling Stubbins? Scott Simpson on Thursday at a NAIOP reception, and he filled us in on the design and engineering firm's new merger with Pasadena-based Jacobs Engineering. | |
| Scott, here with Krokidas & Bluestein's Kathryn Murphy, tells us the firm will continue to operate as Kling Stubbins, but now with the added identifier, ?a Jacobs company.? Kling Stubbins will become part of an 1,800-person global building and design practice that will come under Kling?s current national managing principal in Philly. This is great news for the firm, enabling it to handle a wider variety of projects, including more healthcare and industrial work. In Boston, KS is working on biotech projects with MIT Real Estate, BioMed Realty, and Forest City. | |
