| On Tuesday, our Dallas reporter snapped Stream Realty Partners' COO Ray Mackey Jr. (center) between colleagues Chris Jackson,Paul Moser, Mike McVean, and Lance Taylor. Last week, Ray took over as chairman and chief elected officer of BOMA International, which represents 92 local associations and 13 international affiliates. He's come a long way since 1984 when his boss told him he needed guidance and recommended classes at the Dallas BOMA. Looks like he sent him to the right place. |
| At Stream?s celebration for Ray, Mike toasted the new Mr. BOMA and his wife, Cami, crediting Ray with landing the firm's first big institutional deal, the Pyramids at Park Lane. Mike says he helped Stream?s leasing and management CRE portfolio grow from 750k SF to about 60M SF in six major markets. Ray?s worked for Trammell Crow, Rostland Property Management Co., TI, and for Uncle Sam in the USAF. With the ability to accomplish whatever he sets his mind to—we hear it's the big ones, from quitting smoking to losing weight—a leap over the Chase Tower in a single bound can't be far behind. |
