At its annual gala late last month, The Massachusetts Branch of the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation set a chapter record by raising more than $2M. Here are emcees Fox25?s Maria Stephanos and Mark Ockerbloom (couple, right) with honorees Suzy Doherty and Sean Doherty, aka Bain managing director and general counsel who signed the Hancock Tower lease. The Dohertys have been strong JDRF supporters since ?02 when their son was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes. They?ve done fundraising, parent networking, advocacy, and government relations. This shindig surpassed their goal of $1.5M. Congrats!
