She says she's also looking forward to grappling with some transportation jobs, a field in which she has quite a track record. For 12 years, Barbara was director of design for theMBTA where she helped create handsome T stops like those in the Seaport. At Skanska, she says there's an immense opportunity: At a time when the public and private sector are working leaner, Skanska can become their multi-disciplinary staff.
