| Such is the case for Maryland?s Office of The Federal Public Defender, which is out in downtown Towson looking for 15k SF but having trouble finding a large enough space, sources say. MacKenzie?s Bill Whitty tells us central Towson is generally asmall-tenant market consisting mostly of law firms looking to be close to the District and Circuit Courthouses (although there are some large users, such as Venable?s 30k SF space at 210 W Pennsylvania Ave). A few contiguous spaces are available, Bill says, with asking rents in the area in the low to mid $20/SF. Sources tell us GSA is looking for rents in the mid to high teens with $35/SF TI. |
