Michael's got 1,347 apartments under construction in five area projects and another 1,500 in the pipeline so he's optimistic about the Greater Boston market. But how much new supply can the market absorb? And construction costs, which fell as the economy slowed, may be inching back up, he tells us. Despite a rumor that AvalonBay is pulling out of a nearly 800-unit project at the Seaport, Michael says that the neighborhood’s time has come, and “we’re optimistic that we can be a part of it."
