| We snapped S-C Management's Irma Schretter and James Regis at Tuesday's NAIOP breakfast and asked about apartment livin?. These multifamily owner-managers think the market is strengthening a bit. James says they're seeing fewer concessions, and Irma says they've been able to raise some rents. It's a unit-by-unit phenomenon. Where there's a hands-on property manager who keeps tenants happy, they can push up rents. Also, Irma says Boston has kept its strength through the downturn and certain suburbs are ?feeling better.? |
