Synergy CEO Dave Greaney, whom we snapped with Cushman & Wakefield's Rob Griffin at a Heading Home fundraiser, has been busy on the buy side. On Wednesday, it was announced that the CRE investment and development firm spent $25M to buy 200 Newport Ave in Quincy from an affiliate of Clarion Partners. The 146k SF, Class-A office is leased long term to financial services firm State Street. Rob and his team at Cushman—Woody Maher,Dave Pergola, and Brian Doherty— repped the seller and found the buyer. Sometimes, the smartest move is to look at the guy standing next to you.
