Kaboom! There’s Another Playground

Thanks to 200 volunteers from Boys & Girls Clubs of Boston,JetBlue, Kaboom!, and Suffolk Construction, 250 Roxbury children have a new place to play that's safe, secure, and within walking distance. The volunteers gathered in the late August heat to build the playground at 115 Warren St. for the Yawkey Club of Roxbury based on drawings the children created at a Design Day event in June. The facility is one of 180 that Kaboom! will help build across the country this year.
