| Former Patriot Andre Tippett gave a Patriots? medal and autographed football to Chris Pedersen last Monday as 30 volunteers from Rebuilding Together Boston and New England Patriots employees gathered to renovate the Jamaica Plain home of a Vietnam War vet and his wife, who both have trying health problems. The upgrades were part of a 60-city campaign called Heroes at Home, a collaboration between Sears Holdings and Rebuilding Together to upgrade housing for vets who can't live safely in their homes in their current condition. Andre awarded the medal to Chris as part of the Patriots' volunteer week to honor the memory of the late Myra Kraft, wife of team owner Bob Kraft. |
