| During the recent BIO International Convention, Pamela met with dozens of companies interested in coming to Massachusetts or in collaborating with companies already here. Last year, about a dozen new companies opened shop in the state. While many look for office and/or lab space in Cambridge and Boston, others fan out to the ‘burbs (looking for those quieter labs with white picket fences). For instance, last year an Israeli company, EarlySense, established its US HQ in Waltham and brought its commercial operations here. |
