ADD Inc Joins Stantec And Prepares For Next Winter

ADD Inc is now part of the Stantec family, and Stantec VP Fred Kramer is enjoying this mutually beneficial relationship. The architecture and design firm has access to new skills, geographies, and new clients, which now include those in Canada. ADD is part of a team that unites more than 14,000 employees working in more than 230 locations. The company was awarded a large housing project in Minneapolis and a research sciences facility in New England, while remaining “crazy busy” with multifamily housing (off the charts in Boston and Miami). Fred says that Boston’s winter has certainly affected construction timelines, with some, but not all, of it hoping to be made up. He adds that for buildings, it’s all about resiliency and performance, and that rising sea levels and climate change assure us more Boston winters like 2015 to come.
