CBRE has hired Boston retail investment sales broker Nat Heald away from JLL — again.

Heald has been hired as executive vice president of CBRE's Capital Markets team, seven years after he left CBRE to join JLL. He had most recently served as a managing director in JLL's Boston office.

He was hired at JLL in 2015, along with colleagues Chris Angelone and Bill Moylan, after serving as senior managing director at CBRE, which originally hired him in 2010. Before that, he was an assistant vice president at JLL, where he started in 2006, according to his LinkedIn profile.

"Very happy to rejoin CBRE and the National Retail Partners team," Heald wrote on LinkedIn Wednesday. "CB has the deepest bench of retail talent in the industry - excited for a great run!"

In his latest role at CBRE, Heald will focus on institutional retail sales in the Northeast.

“Nat is a uniquely skilled capital markets advisor with a deep understanding of retail real estate. He will help to expand and fortify our platform in New England and the entire Northeast region,” CBRE Managing Director Chris Decoulfe said in a press release.

Heald has been working in the retail real estate market for over 15 years specializing in grocery-anchored shopping centers, urban retail and large single-tenant assets.

He has assisted on deals across the Greater Boston's retail market including the sale of a $295M portfolio of 11 single-tenant retail assets in Boston, Rhode Island and Connecticut. Last month, Heald posted on LinkedIn that his team at JLL sold its 18th Stop & Shop property in 18 months.

He also represented Tishman Speyer in its $12M sale of Pier 4 Retail and Natick-based Stonegate Group in acquiring a $26M retail space on Newbury Street.
